This week we started our second song!
The first thing Abby asked when she walked in was "should i talk it and make my words longer?" She's learning so fast and doing so well! I'm so excited about her progress and what we're working on.
This week:
- We vocalized on: humming, lip buzz, humming--liip buzz, hooty, me-me, mm--ee, yah-yah
- We worked on:
-- Staying "in the pocket" (keeping up with fast songs)
-- Shortening our words so what we can stay "in the pocket"
-- Keeping our voice in our newly learned "forward" placement
-- Talking it out, giving our voice power but while keeping our vocal chords safe.
Things to remember:
- Talk it out!
- Smile! Don't just show your teeth but really smile so we can sing through our teeth"
