This week:
- We vocalized on: humming, mm-lip buzz, mm-ee, me-me, yah-yah, mah-mah
- We worked on: moving our voice and actions into a more musical theater place. With a simpler song like this one we want to make sure that our voice has energy and it doesn't become boring for our audience. We want to keep our pretty high notes while adding character to our words and energy to our actions!
Things to remember:
- Keep it happy!! the audience can tell if you're faking it!! Plus - it'll brighten up our sound and help us stay in tune!
- SMILE!!
- Forward doesn't always mean more volume - we can sing in our mix voice and have lots of power without putting the pressure on our chords to sing with lots of volume. The volume will come as we get our voice in tip top shape! Take it easy for now.
Awesome job Emma!!! We'll have you on a stage in no time!!
