This week:
This week we worked on Caitlin's lines for her musical!
We vocalized on: humming, me-me, yah-yah - our goal is to make sure that Caitlin relaxes when she sings. Because of this, warming up as many times as possible will be an awesome thing for her!
We worked on:
I had Caitlin try her lines several different ways to try and get her brain to break out of what she's used to. This will help her take direction from her teachers as they give her actions and further direction with her lines in context of the musical.
The main ones for Caitlin will be doing her lines a little bit slower and making sure her accent matches throughout her lines.
We worked on actions a little bit adding pauses in certain places as well.
