Olivia Bagley: Lips are moving (week 2)

This week:

This week we continued to work on shortening Olivia's words. We moved on to the pre chorus and chorus of her song where she is singing high and worked on maintaining the choppiness of the verses when it feels like we should be singing a little bit longer.

We worked on adding SASS! With every disney song we've done, we've worked on Olivia adding character to the song with her placement and actions - adding the things she would on a stage. With this song, she needs to add just as much character - just a different character. By adding some attitude by hitting words harder and making it choppier and punchier - it adds to the over all character of her song making it sound more pop!

She did so awesome!!

We vocalized on:
mm-ah, mah-mah (relaxation exercizes), humming, be-be (building, range extension exercises), be-be, yah-yah (pop placement, building mix exercises), hooty (soft build exercise) and everybody's favorite (transition scat/belt exercise)
