We worked on:
1. Performance technique - adding movement
2. Pop box (continued/ check up)

Performance technique - adding movement
Today we continued our work on performance technique! We added some choreography to our new song "Dear Future Husband" and worked through it, making sure our actions added to the energy of our song vocally and visually - making our actions nice and big and deliberate.
With each new song we do, we are working on moving forward - getting bigger, more confident, and more comfortable with not just singing our songs - but performing them. When we combine our awesome placements that Olivia has mastered (and her voice keeps getting stronger and stronger!), with this performance technique - one helps the other in achieving an overall stage ready performance!!

Wow. Olivia had the lesson of her LIFE today!!!
Pop box (continued/ check up)
We also continued our work on building Olivia's voice - making sure it is nice and strong (with our range extension vocalization exercises), quick (that it stays in the pocket - using our pop box to shorten words and add character to them while keeping them quick), and in control (working on Olivia's ability to control the length of her words, the volume of each word, and the style we are starting to add on top of it!).

Olivia's voice gets better and better every lesson!! She is working SO hard!!! and it SHOWS!!!!!! Wow. I'm so proud of her!!!

Here are our videos from today!

Before/End of our lesson:
