Style: Scats!! Today we continued to work on our pop style and moving to an even more commercial sound! We worked on keeping our verses punchy and we continued our work on brightening our vowels and taking unnecessary bass out to increase our vocal agility so that we could start to add even more scats!! The more forward we can push our voice - the faster and easier our scats become and the smoother our transitions become when moving from one register to another - making words like "you" in the chorus - with a register flip from mix to head and a 7 note climbing scat - sound even more in control. We will continue to work on building and quickening our scatting ability- giving Ella the ability to customize her songs even further! Ella is crushing! She sounds amazing!!!!!
