Tag Edwards: Love is an open door (week 2)

This week:

We vocalized on:
mah-mah, nay-yay

We worked on:
1. High notes: forward placement and transitions!
2. Performing!!

High notes: forward placement and transitions!
Today we worked on our high notes in "love is an open door", and "I just can't wait to be king"! We are working hard to build Tag's mix voice in our warm up exercises - adding our Pinnochio placement as we get higher and higher so that Tag doesn't hurt his voice on his highest notes when he wants them to sound powerful! We worked on making sure Tag made them squeaky on top (taking all of the bass out of his voice so that he can hit his high notes easier), that he smiled nice and big on his high notes - making a triangle with his mouth (helping push the sound forward even more!).
He did so awesome!

At the end of "I just can't wait to be king" - he said " I feel like i'm getting better at that!" - It was wonderful!

Performing!!
As we get closer and closer to our concert - we are working hard on Tag's performing as well! We are working to make sure that Tag performs every song with a smile, with big actions, that he maintains his awesome forward placement, that he separates his words, and that he has so much fun!

He is doing so great!!!!! Today was a great lesson for him!

Here are our videos from today!
