Today we worked on making sure Lily crosses the t's and dots the i's on her performance for our concert! We went through each of our songs thoroughly today and picked out the things she felt the best about - and the things she felt like she wanted to work on or improve in the next week.
She picked:
- More shuffles (or moving her feet more while performing) for "Lost boy"
- More microphone drops (or moving her arms more and controlling her microphone choreography) for "Love Story"
- And wider placement (or widening her vowels on the bottom in her verses, while pushing her voice into our high belt placement and mouth placement - big triangle - in her choruses giving her a bigger and brighter sound) for "When we were young"
She is going to be SO AWESOME!! I can't wait for you to see how hard she has worked and how much she has learned in voice lessons so far!!
