Today we worked on finishing our song "burn"!!! We worked on making sure Sefra added her musical theater character placement to our song - singing it very lifted and talked. We worked on the high notes at the end of our song - how to approach them, and how to transition from one vocal range to the next!
We worked on making sure that Sefra released some of the pressure on her vocal cords whens he is belting her last notes as she transitions into her higher note to prevent cracking - making sure she starts her word "burn" in a more mix voice place!
Performance prep!!
In our next 2 lessons, we decided we are going to work on maintaining Sefra's awesome placement - making sure every word is in the right place and that her brain memorizes how our placement feels with all these awesome improvements!!!
In our next lesson we are also going to work on making Sefra's song "prettier" - or adding a few more stylistic elements to it to make it exactly how Sefra wants it to sound!
I can't tell you how impressed I am with how quickly Sefra has improved!!!! I'm so proud of her!!!
