Alto Harmonies
Today we worked on Ella's Mary Poppins audition! We first worked on her melody line that she is auditioning with. We worked on it at the piano, with the track from the live musical, with me singing the soprano harmony with her, and with Ella singing it a capella - so that whatever happens in her audition she will feel and be prepared!
High mix voice
Because this song is so high, we also worked on Ella's high mix voice and making sure that she has power behind her high notes and that she sounds clear, could easily be a soloist or blend into an ensemble and contribute with volume, great tone, and power!
Ella did awesome!!
Because most of our lesson was at the piano today we didn't film before/after videos of "Super cali". At Ella's acting lesson on Wednesday we will go over her song again and film a snapshot video then so that she has something to practice with!
