Staying wide and open at any speed Today we worked on keeping Estelle's voice nice and open on her top notes! We did this by slowing her song way down and focusing on her transition notes (or notes leading up to her high notes), and getting them into the right mouth and vocal placement, giving her high notes an easier transition. When our transition notes fall back - our high notes become much harder to hit correctly, and harder to control and manipulate. We then sped Estelle's song up little by little, making sure she maintained the big open feel that she mastered with her song slowed down. She did great!! This song is sounding awesome!!
