Maggie Speed: Better when we break (week 2)

This week:

We vocalized on:
mah-mah, nay-yay, mm-mah, lip buzz,
We worked on:
1. Pop Style!

Pop Style!
Today we worked on getting Maggie's brain to go past the point of discomfort with her pop style. We focused on 2 things our whole lesson:
1. Keeping it forward. Making sure she was approaching each note correctly so that her high and low notes easily transitioned into each other, that she could hit her high notes with ease, and her overall tone stayed consistent and clear.
2. Keeping it wide. We are moving Maggie's voice to a more stylistic place. In order to do this, we need Maggie's brain to not worry about it sounding GOOD - but instead worry about it sounding and feeling CORRECT. From here, we can use this wide place to transition into awesome pop style - with wide vowels and texturized low notes!
