Swing rhythms (continued) Today we continued to work on our swing rhythms with our hard rhythm song: When I see an elephant fly! We started today by clapping out our rhythm, trying to find the different beats in the song. We then worked on separating our words to make sure we could stay in the pocket of our song! This song was an interesting one in that, there isn't much melodic singing in it - it's almost rap-like with as much talking as there is. Tag did awesome at finding those rhythms and keeping up with the speed! We will move on to his lines for the play and a new song next week!
