Adding Character!! Today we worked on adding character to our song in our voice inflections and our actions. We first separated our song into 2 parts: character parts and show-y parts. In the sections deemed "character parts" - we only focused on ways to enhance the character or the story of the song (different things we could do with the way we said the words, different ways we could move our body in order to enhance what the character choice was). In the show-y parts - we focused on opening up our notes so that they were as big and bright as we could make them! We started on choreography for the song - trying to push it to a more "musical theater" place!
