Lauren Fielding: Little do you know (week 3)

This week:

We vocalized on:
Mah-mah, nay-yay, mm-mah, my-my

We worked on:
1. Moving more conversational/ Adding style!

Moving more conversational/ Adding style!
This week we worked on moving Lauren's voice to a place that sounds even more melodic than our second lesson as we worked on knocking off more rough edges from our "forward placement".

We worked on adding some pop style by first widening our vowels, adding an "ah" sound in the middle of our words. This gives our low notes more texture and opens up our high belt to give it a bigger sound.

We also worked on softening the pronunciation of our words to move to a more pop place as well. To do this, we worked on making our trapezoidal shape with our mouth and holding it with a loose jaw and lengthening our words even more to give them a more connected feel ( while maintaining the separation and space of our syllables in our brain - using our fingers to separate each one - for our pitch accuracy).

Lauren CRUSHED! She did so well!!!

Now that we have established our "forward/baseline placement", for our next lesson, Lauren can bring a new song to work on as we continue to move forward with her awesome progress!!

Here are our videos from today!
