We vocalized on: humming, lip buzz/humming, me-me, yah-yah, hooty, ae-ah
We worked on:
- We continued to work on projecting, getting ready for stage musical theater placements. Today we tried to make it sound more conversational/ less forced.
- We continued with our musical theater placement. bringing our voice even more forward than we would normally to add more "character" to the sound.
Since it's not a very high song - the placement is tricky because you can get away with doing it the "wrong way" -- we spent a lot of time recognizing the difference between helpful and harmful placements in our voice before it gets to a note where you can physically feel it.
