This week we worked a lot on moving Ella's voice forward and getting her comfortable with this "pop" placement.
We vocalized on: humming, me-me, yah-yah, oh-ah, everybody's favorite.

We went back and forth singing a lot today to make sure Ella could hear, feel, see, and copy the staccato/punchy sound and the forward sound she needs for this song.
We worked a lot on keeping Ella's energy up for the whole song, making sure that it doesn't slip in and out of a place that makes her fall out of the pocket (or sound like she's behind the music)
It takes a lot of energy to sing like this.
We worked on our punchy-ness, and singing in more of a chipmunk place than we want it to sound.
