This week we talked about musical auditions and our recital. As of now, Erin has decided to do 2 different songs. We're still deciding on a song for our recital - and she has chosen "Pulled" from the Aadams Family for musical auditions.
We worked on:
Our "old Italian woman" placement - taking our forward placement and making sure it is forward and wide so it doesn't sound squeaky.
We worked a lot on keeping things forward as well - so that when Erin's voice is small (yet still falling back) she'll be able to recognize it and fix it.
We worked on high note placement - making sure it goes forward and small.
