This week we continued our work on our classical placement!
We worked hard on making sure that our umbrella - or lifting our soft pallet - extended through the whole sound.
We worked on smiling in the back (or pushing into our molars) and jumping immediately to the open place instead of trying to fight the thinness of skipping this step later on in our notes.
We added to our song - going on to the second verse/bridge, making sure that with each phrase, we got bigger in our backspace (or soft pallet).
We continued to work on completing our upside down U - not cutting corners. Following all the way through to our mix voice on the low notes, while making sure not to skimp on the whole top of the curve.
Erin did SO well! She has made this transition so awesome by working so hard!!! and duh. she sounds amazing! I'm so proud of her!!!
