Tag Edwards: Bear Necessities (week 3)

This week:

We vocalized on:
Mah-Mah, Nay-yay, Everybody's favorite

We worked on:
1. Building our song with each verse
2. Moving it towards being stage ready

Building our song:
We worked on adding more dynamics to our song by building each verse from the beginning to the end. We worked on building by smiling more each verse, singing a little bit louder and more forward each verse, and adding bigger actions. We also continued our work on separating the words. By separating the words, Tag is able to have more control of each note - giving him the ability to build even more, stay on pitch, and add character to his song.

Stage Ready:
With each new song that we do, we want to get it to a point that Tag could very easily perform it on stage by the end of our 3rd lesson on the song. Because of this, we started taking out some of our “reminder” arm actions, and started working on a few performance actions. Tag likes to bounce like Baloo from the movie as one of his actions - and it helps him keep his awesome energy up!

We will continue to work on more stage technique as we start our next song!

He’s doing SO awesome!!

Here are our videos from today!

Before/End of our lesson:

Great job Tag!! See you soon!!
