Today we continued our work on Olivia's texture and style. We worked on widening her placement even further, adding more breath and energy to her words to give them texture and a more anxious, vulnerable feeling and pushed Olivia past her comfort zone even more.
The best style will always happen when you let yourself sound weird and you commit to "hitting the wall" (going bigger, weirder, wider, punchier, than you think will sound good). We are getting Olivia to that point where she takes it all the way to too much style so that we can pick and choose where we want to use what and to what level. When we get to that point we will be able to customize Olivia's songs even more!!
