Today we worked primarily on vocals, leaving our last voice lesson before the audition for adding character and getting Hannah's cute personality into her songs. Today we worked on our head voice range and making sure our voice stays forward when we transition into our highest notes. We want to have as much control over our voice in our song as possible - giving us space and time to add musical theater character choices in our audition - because our sheet music is in a high key, we shortened our words, talking them out to make sure we maintained this control. Our next lesson we will add character to our song!
